The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has released the timetable and schedule of activities for Bye-Election in Ekiti East State Constituency I, which is scheduled to hold on the 20th March 2021.
The Commission released the timetable via its official Twitter handle @inecnigeria on Wednesday, 24th February 2021.
According to INEC’s timetable, a notice of election is hereby issued on the 24th while 26th is set aside for the collection of EC9, EC9E, and EC13E forms by political parties from the INEC website.
INEC also stated that political parties have from the 26th of February to the 3rd of March to conduct primaries and resolve any dispute arising from the primaries.
Other activities lined up include; submission of forms, the publication of EC9 and list of nominated candidates, submission of names of polling agents for the election to the Electoral Officer of the LGA by political parties and campaigns.
